Insurance of the crew is recommended by federal and international law. In the event of an insured accident, the aircraft owner avoids any tangible costs associated with paying monetary compensation to the affected crew members or their families.

Crew accident insurance is possible both for the duration of their official duties and for 24 hours a day.
